The need to incorporate social value, rather than just economic value is becoming increasingly important across all sectors. Social and impact investors, public sector commissioners and corporates want to know how much value their investment creates, and social entrepreneurs are recognising the importance of maximising the value they can create for those they serve. Everyday we make any impact from our activity, either the positive or negative, and all could change the world ; socially, economically and environment. But how do we manage these values?

What is SROI?
SROI is an approach for understanding and managing the value of the social, economic and environmental outcomes created by an activity or an organisation. It is based on a set of principles that are applied within a framework. A framework to structure thinking and understanding. It’s a story not a number. The story should show how you understand the value created, manage it and can prove it.
